In late summer of 2018, this drink became wildly popular in our home. Tony and I were in the middle of a “gin craze” at the time. We had just moved into our new cottage, and around 4pm everyday this beautiful red beverage would appear in front of me. It’s extremely bitter, surprisingly refreshing, and can act as an apertif before supper. For us, it’s the perfect drink to sip on as we decompress from our day and prepare for an evening of work at the bar. So! Without further adieu, I’m so excited to finally share this recipe with you.
